Proof of Concept Trials
We have a number of proof of concept -stage therapeutic and personalized medicine testing candidates in development, including a topical NSAID and a compound for the potential treatment of rheumatoid arthritis.

In February of 2009, we acquired a technology platform that uses cell-bound complement activation products (CB-CAP) to diagnose and monitor autoimmune disorders, including systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE/Lupus). We believe this technology will enhance the ability to confirm diagnosis and judge the efficacy of therapy and predict future flares. We anticipate launching the diagnostic application mid-late 2010 at the earliest with the launch of the monitoring application to follow at a later date.
